THE HEARTBEAT OF YOUR GLAM SQUAD / NAOMI ROBLES

Naomi Robles

You have a vision for your wedding day beauty and you’re looking for the right professional to bring your vision to life. Enter the heartbeat of your glam squad - the dynamic, colorful and sincerely genuine Naomi Robles.

Naomi is a Boulder-based professional hair and make-up artist of 12+ years known for helping brides enhance their natural beauty by accentuating their unqiue features. She's your trusted beauty confidant to ensure you feel like the best version of yourself on your wedding day - helping you to feel confident, radiant and most importantly, authentically you. Her Miami roots and experience working with fashion shows, reality TV, Pitbull music videos and iconic brands like Prana, Dove, and Adidas have deepened her love for what she enjoys most - working with women. Naomi is a champion of women achieving their dreams and sources inspiration from the women she works with and climbs with (her favorite hobby)!

When asked what value a bride should be provided with on her wedding day, Naomi’s response says it best.

Artistry. She should feel like herself, a glow from within. (It's a real thing! When a woman feels empowered, confident and beautiful, she demands attention). I want my bride to feel like herself enhanced to the 10th degree. Period. My job as a makeup artist/stylist is also showcasing this perfectly in photography and in person. It's hard for an artist to really explain the process, it's more like "when you know, you know." We are playing with textures, color, and balance when it comes to makeup and styling.

Working with Naomi is a truly work of art from the beginning, meaning, she’ll be working with you well before your wedding day to learn your story and understand precisely what you’re looking for. How often do you get the opportunity to spend time discussing your personal beauty with a professional? If any moment in life deserves this, it’s certainly your wedding day!

In your initial consultation, Naomi wants to know the theme you’re seeking, the mood and vibe of your wedding day, your color palette and will also understand the types of lighting you’ll be faced with throughout the day in order to make the best recommendations. She’ll also ask if you have pinned inspirations of your own and ask you to send.

This powers Naomi with inspiration to create your customized mood board combining your ideas with ideas of her own such as the example shown below.

Your mood board is paired with a summary of your initial consultation along with important items to consider before your makeup and/or hair trial.

We highly recommend booking and budgeting for a makeup and hair trial prior to the wedding day to ensure you’re comfortable in the look and like the way it accentuates your face in photographs. Consider booking your trial before an engagement shoot, bridal shower or other outing where you’ll be photographed.

As you approach the wedding day, Naomi provides a helpful list of supplies to plan for and is sure to arrive to your beauty suite armed with an extensive kit of tools and a precious energy that is truly contagious and enjoyable to be around. She’s a boost of positive, complementary energy that is awesome to experience the morning of your wedding.

By investing in the many details of your wedding day, and paying to capture it all on film and video, it’s essential to have a problem solver like Naomi on your team so that you, as the main star of the show, is well cared for and looking your absolute best.

If considering Naomi or another makeup artist, Naomi recommends these three tips.

1. Ask all your potential artist for a gallery of work. Maybe 10 images of one bride on the same day. This will allow you to really see how their work lasted during the entire event.

2. Learn your artist. What inspires them? Does this resonate with you?

3. Lastly, and probably the most important. Do you feel like you can spend your day with this person and do they understand the look you are going for? Personality and artistry should be  balanced. I know it might sound like you are looking for the perfect date, and you kind of are. Shop around. Have a budget for this consultations/trails. It's important to enjoy the process.
