All About Jennifer Morgan Photography
Vibrant and kind, silly and smiley, grounded and gifted. That’s Jennifer Morgan, a fellow Nederland, Colorado based wedding photographer who we’ve had the joy of working with this wedding season.
As a Wedding Planner, we work hard to help our COLLECTIVE/Couples curate a cast of talent for their wedding day. Hiring the right photographer is high on our priority list because photos are often the only tangible memory you’ll have after the wedding. And because photographers are intimately involved in your wedding day experience, it’s important to consider hiring someone you’ll truly like spending time with.
We took the opportunity to catch up with Jennifer to learn more about why she feels at home photographing weddings and the exciting news of her recent engagement in Allenspark, Colorado!
In her lucky seventh year as a professional, independent wedding photographer, Jennifer is the kind of sympathetic photographer you’ll love and completely appreciate having by your side.
A Fine Art major with studies in High Fashion and Photojournalism, Jennifer’s educational background and training has created a strong foundation for her expanding wedding photography business that allows couples to trust her judgement and creative eye. After viewing a couple’s wedding inspiration board, Jennifer is able to naturally steer the creative direction with full trust from her couples. This organic process results in Jennifer producing her best work with photos that showcase couples most authentically.
Where She Works
Fiercely dedicated to producing wedding photographs that are authentic, emotionally centered and artistic, Jennifer works with couples across Colorado, North Carolina, Ohio (her hometown) and throughout the United States. And if you’re an adventure-loving, outdoors enthusiast, Jennifer is your girl! Booking with Jennifer Morgan Photography
With clients across the country, Jennifer is a natural at working with remote clients and those who are local. Whether meeting in person, FaceTime, or Skype, you’ll quickly experience the cheerfulness and excitement that Jennifer exudes in meeting new couples. Her most popular package is the Full Day package that also includes an engagement session. We highly recommend this as a way to get to know each other and become comfortable in front of the camera. Unlike many photographers, Jennifer turns around a sneak peak of your images in 4-6 days (not weeks!). This is helpful for sharing memories from your wedding day with family and friends while the memories are really fresh.

Advice to Couples
We asked Jennifer about her advice to couples as they prepare for their wedding day photos. With the time and investment made in your wedding day, along with the anticipation, we so jive with Jennifer’s tips that help ensure your photos represent your genuine personality (and not any tension or stress you might be feeling).
Attitude is everything! Keep your mind (and heart) focused in the moment. Hopefully you’re considering a Wedding Planner to worry about everything else so you can truly experience each moment of the day.
Be adaptable. A surprise rain or snow shower, family who’s running late...you can’t worry about the things you can’t control. Should obstacles arise, go with the flow.
Laid back for the win! Sometimes, the unplanned wedding day happenings become the best memories. Embrace whatever comes your way on wedding day with a smile.
Jennifer’s Wedding Favorite
Her most memorable weddings are those centered around meaningful, intimate celebrations that focus on the people and honoring the relationships among the couple, their family and friends.
“Listening to a couple express their hand-written wedding vows is one of my favorite things about my job. Hearing a bride or groom share their very intimate, personal and vulnerable vows is a beautiful thing to witness,” says Jennifer.
She Said Yes!
If there’s any question that Jennifer is the right photographer for you, imagine this. Jennifer met her now fiance, Bobby, at a wedding she was photographing. Bobby, a very shy groomsmen, was too nervous to approach the wedding photographer and likewise, Jennifer was working and didn’t have time to chat. Following the wedding, they began to talk and Jennifer later found herself moving to Colorado where Bobby lived. The adorable duo now owns their first home together perched above the town of Nederland in a charming vista where they love hosting friends and working hard on their home together.
On September 29, Bobby popped the question in Allenspark, their favorite Colorado destination. Jennifer joins you as a newlywed too and can empathize with the excitement of planning and preparing for your wedding day!
